It is intimated that the peeling unit has applied for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The peeling unit has deposited Rs. 15000/- vide receipt no. 70/4590 dated 16.04.2018 under Air Act, 71/4590 dated 16.04.2018 under Water Act, Rs. 750/- vide receipt no. 69/4590 dated 16.04.2018 as NOC regularization fee and Rs. 500/- vide receipt no. 72/4590 dated 16.04.2018 as an application form fee. The peeling unit was submitted CA Certificate, forest license for peeling unit, approved building plan & site plan, letter from M.C. Mukerian regarding the shifting of unit as per the master plan in future, undertaking regarding proprietorship & copy of fard.
It is intimated that the peeling unit was visited by AEE of this office on 19.04.2018 and it was observed that peeling unit is provided one peeling unit and has obtained forest license for the same. The industry is operating at the said location from 2008 i.e. before the notification of Master Plan. The industry has submitted letter from M.C. Mukerian through which the industry has been asked to shift the unit as per the master plan scheme in future. The domestic effluent generated is discharged into M.C. sewer.
In view of above, it is recommended consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the saw mill upto 31.12.2027 (Competency Environmental Engineer).
