It is submitted that directions u/s 31-A of Air Act, 1981 was issued to the industry for temporarily operation of the industry for a period upto 31.12.2014 vide ZO letter dt. 08.08.2014 and consent to operate was granted for the said time period. Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate alongwith undertaking that industry is lying closed after 31.12.2014. As per the report of Regional Office, the industry is complying with the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
If approved, consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for a period upto six months with suitable conditions alongwith special condition that the industry will intimate the Board regarding its recommissioning as well as submit the operational schedule.
