The details of the case are given in the note of AEE, which may kindly be perused. As reported by Regional Office, the unit is a bottling plant and covered under orange category. The Regional Office has recommended the case for renewal of consent upto 30.09.2021 without verifying the compliance of the consent conditions as per office order no. 59 dated 02/02/2016. But in the said case a special condition was imposed that the industry will maintain the record of the fresh water requirement as well as wastewater generated by it on daily basis. Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, SAS Nagar shall visit the industry as and when it commissioned its unit, verify the actual qty of domestic/ trade effluent generated by it and send the report accordingly. Therefore, the industry is required to be visited by Regional Office for further extension in validity of consent. If approved, the case be returned to Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, SAS Nagar with request to visit the industry and process the case on merits, please. (Competency SEE) |
