Please peruse agenda note and note page sent by Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Sangrur for details of the case.
Keeping in view of the above report/recommendations of Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Sangrur, as the project proponent has provided bag filter house as APCD along with stack of adequate height with wheat cleaning section and no trade effluent is generated, therefore, it is proposed that:
-The industry be granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 31/12/2023 for storage of wheat grains (50000 MT, 4 silos @ 12500 MT each), with suitable conditions alongwith the following special conditions that:- 1. The industry will provide water meter at source of water supply.
2. The industry shall obtain permission for abstraction of ground water as per guidelines issued by the Central Ground Water Authority please.
