It is intimated that the project proponent has proposed to construct a Commercial Mall atVill. Khwaspur crossing of Phagwara bypass & Jalandhar – Hoshiarpur road, Hoshiarpur. The area of the Complex is approximately 16209.53 Sq.mtr.
• The project proponent has deposited Rs. 15000/-vide R. no. 96/4590 dated 20.04.2018 as NOC fee and Rs. 500/- vide R. no. 96/4590 dated 20.04.2018 as application form fee, which is adequate for one year
• The project proponent has submitted application form, Feasibility report, Partnership deed, project report, land proof, NOC from M.C. Hoshiarpur, site plan, complex map.
• The site of the mall was visited by the AEE of this office on 27.04.2018 and it was observed that the project proponent has started the construction work of the building and same was in progress during visit. The earth work of the site has already been done.
• The area of the site is about 16209.53 Sq.mtr. and the site is situated at Hoshiarpur – Jalandhar bypass. The site is surrounded by commercial shops and show rooms.
• The project proponent has got the building plan approved from the Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur vide no. 126 dated 18.01.2018. The total covered area of the site 17825.61 sqmtr. which is less than 20000 sq.mtr.
• The project proponent has submitted the copy of the noting sheet of Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur regarding the submission of EDC Charges for obtaining CLU of the said site.
• The project proponent has proposed to install an STP for the treatment of domestic effluent generated from the mall. The various components of the STP are Oil & grease traps, equalization tank, aeration tank cum MBBR tank, clarifier, settling tank, chlorine contact tank, multigrade filter and activated carbon filter. The domestic effluent after treatment will be discharged into M.C. Sewer. The project proponent has also proposed a DG Set of capacity 500 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
In view of above, it is recommended that the Consent to establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 applied may be granted for one year to the project proponent for the establishment of the mall with usual terms and conditions and with special condition that the project proponent shall submit the copy of the CLU applied by him in Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur.
