The agenda note as well as note page of AEE/EE of Regional Office, FGS may kindly be perused. In view of the recommendations of EE, RO, FGS, it is proposed that the NOC of the Board may be granted to the industry for installation of induction furnace of capacity 7 T/heat for manufacturing of Steel Ingots and Castings @ 84 T/day by using Iron and Steel Scrap, Sponge Iron and Ferro Alloys @ 92 TPD as raw material in the revenue estate of Vill. Bhadla, Neecha, Khanna, Distt. Ludhiana with general conditions (auto generated) and following special conditions:
1. This NOC is valid for installation of induction furnace of capacity 7 T/heat for manufacturing of Steel Ingots and Castings @ 84 T/day by using Iron and Steel Scrap, Sponge Iron and Ferro Alloys @ 92 TPD as raw material.
2. The industry shall submit a certificate of adequacy of Air Pollution Control Device (APCD) from Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Chandigarh alongwith application of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 before commissioning of the unit.
3. The industry shall achieve the air emission standard of 150mg/Nm3 for particulate matter.
4. The industry will not emit black smoke under any circumstances.
5. The industry shall provide paved area inside its premises and shall maintain regularly which is used for vehicular movement to eliminate the air born dust emissions due to vehicular movement.
6. The industry shall be liable to obtain environmental clearance as required under the EIA notification dated 14/9/2006, in case of increase in the production capacity of induction furnace.
7. The industry will obtain other necessary permissions from the relevant departments, if any.
8. The industry shall not comply with the guidelines for abstraction of ground water issued by the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA).
