Earlier CTO under Water Act, 1974 was granted upto 31/03/2018. Now the industry has applied for renewal of same. The industry was visited by AEE RO on 06/04/2018 and observed that the industry is a lead smelting unit. During visit the industry was not in operation as the industry has earlier obtained consents for obtaining actual user certificate. The industry has provided one no. mini blast furnace which is further attached with 02 nos. gravity chambers (connected in series), trima cyclone, bag filter & wet scrubber. The industry has provided stack of approx., height 30 m with adequate sampling arrangements. RO reported that the industry is complying with the conditions of consent to operate granted earlier. If approved that CTO under Water Act, 1974 may be extended upto 30/06/2023 . |
