The details of the case are given in the agenda note of AEE, which may kindly be perused. As reported by Regional Office, the industry is an orange category unit and case the same is to be dealt with as per officer order no. 59 dated 02.02.2016 as auto renewal case. But, there was some addition in the machinery due to which, the unit was visited by the AEE. The industry has added one open end machine. The production of the industry has not been increased from 24 MTD as reported by Regional Office. The industry has already provided rotary filters in the blow room to control the fluff emissions. The treated domestic effluent is being utilized in green area. In view of the report/recommendations given by the Regional Office, if approved, renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2022 subject to the suitable conditions and following special conditions that: 1. The industry shall maintain the record for total water consumption to be used in the humidification process and domestic purposes. 2. The industry shall not generate and discharge any kind of trade effluent. It shall discharge only domestic effluent onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank. 3. The industry shall re-circulate the entire water of humidification plant. 4. The industry shall provide water sprinkling system for proper distribution of treated domestic effluent in the green area within one month and submit compliance report in this regard, thereafter, please.
