The industry was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, which is valid upto 31.03.2018. Now the industry has applied for consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981& Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The industry was visited by JEE along with AEE on 26.04.2018 and observed that the industry was in operation. The industry generates only domestic effluent and same is discharged into PSIEC Sewer. The industry uses water for cooling purpose and same is being re-circulated through cooling tower. RO recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 31.03.2023.Keeping in view of the report/verification made by RO ,if approved cto water may be granted upto 30.6.2023 with usual conditions . comp SEE pl. |
