It is submitted that the industry was given personal hearing before the Chief Environmental Engineer of the Board on 18.04.2018 and after hearing it was decided that :-
1. Environmental Engineer, Regional Office shall verify the contention made by the industry and whether the site operation of industry is allowed in Rural Focal Point and thereafter process the consent cases accordingly.
The point wise reply of the hearing decisions is as under :-
1. The DTP Ludhiana vide letter no 539 dated 28.02.2018 has certified that the site of the industry in question is in industrial zone of the Master Plan of (2007-2031). It do not require CLU. The copy of the said letter of DTP is enclosed herewith. As such the site is suitable.
2. The industry was visited by the AEE alongwith JEE on 08.05.2018 and observed that industry has now removed soakage pit and provided septic tank for its domestic effluent generated from labour quarters. But There is also a washroom/toilet near located the trade effluent storage tanks. The domestic effluent arising from this washroom/toilet is being discharged into soakage pit. Industry has installed water meter on its fresh water supply and was guided to maintain the record of water consumed and lifted by M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd, Ludhiana properly in register. It is submitted that industry has provided two trade effluent storage tanks of capacity 2000 Ltr each and approx. 2600 Ltr was lying stored in the tank. The industry has installed two D.G sets of capacity 100 KVA & 85 KVA with canopies. Industry has not yet developed proper plantation area for use of domestic effluent.
