Earlier the consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 (Under Red Category) was granted to the industry vide No. GUR/APC/2003-2018/F-135 dated 02/04/2003, which was valid upto 31/03/2018. Now the subject cited industry has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under orange category. The industry has now deposited Rs. 9400/- vide Ch. No. 004390 dated 01/05/2018 as consent to operate fee under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and same is valid for further two years period against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 75,88,560/- as on 31/03/2017. The industry has also deposited and Rs. 3000/- vide Ch. No. 004391 dated 01/05/2018 as NOC regularization fee. The industry has also deposited and Rs. 500/- vide Ch. No. 004389 dated 01/05/2018 as form downloading fee.
If approved:-
“Consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31/03/2019 in light of the discussion by your good self in light of officer meeting held at Head Office, Patiala and without visiting the unit/site in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016 with usual condition and with the special conditions that the Brick Kiln will submit revised lease deed one month prior to the expiry of the same, if need be. If the Brick Kiln fails to submit the revised/extended lease deed one month prior to the expiry of the same, then the earlier consent fee deposited by the BKO will stand forfeited and the brick kiln will have to apply fresh consent along with the requisite consent fee.
