The project promoter was granted NOC (for residential and commercial complex) vide letter dated 19.10.2016 with one of the main conditions that the project promoter shall obtain revised environmental clearance under the provisions of EIA notification dated 14.9.2006 depicting all the components being constructed/to be constructed at site and shall also ensure the compliance of the conditions of the environmental clearance granted vide letter dated 22.10.2008. EE, RO, Mohali has informed that the representative of the promoter company informed that revised environmental clearance is not required to be obtained by them as they are carrying out the construction within the limits of the original environmental clearance granted to them and will be obtaining the revised environmental clearance if there will be any change or any addition. The case is now submitted to consider and decide as to whether the project promoter can be granted the consent under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for the residential complex (Burj-One having 49 Flats) and multiplex vis-à-vis the Environmental Clearance granted to it on 22.10.2008 (valid upto 20.8.2018), which was for carrying out construction activities of shopping complex named as Silicon Square. |
