Discussed, it was appraised that the representative of the industry informed during the visit that the sister concern of the unit i.e. M/s Indian Acrylics (main unit) has installed total 06 no. tubewells, out of which 04 no. tubewells are for industrial operations and 02 no. tubewells are for domestic needs in residential colony. Further, he informed that 01 no. boiler of capacity 21 TPH alongwith 01 no. co-generation plant of capacity 6.5 MW is lying closed since 2007. It is once again recommended that the varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Acrylic Yarn (dyed and grey) @ 40.47 MTD, Dyeing of yarn @ 8 MTD and dyeing of fibre @ 15 MTD by using Acrylics / Nylon / Synthetics/ Cotton/Fiber/Tow/Tops @ 44.22 MTD and dyes & auxiliaries chemicals @ 1600 kg/day as raw material, may be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2023 with usual conditions and special condition that the industry shall obtain permission for ground water abstraction as per guidelines issued by CGWA. |
