The details of the case are given in the note of Asstt. Environmental Engineer, which may kindly be perused. In light of the facts mentioned in the note of AEE, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be renewed upto 30.09.2020 for manufacturing of Tin Containers @ 3000000 Numbers/ Year by using Tin Plate Sheets @ 2800 MT/Year, Kunda @ 69 MT/Year, Coloured Ink @ 2 MT/Year & Varnish @ 4 MT/Year subject to suitable conditions and a special condition that the industry shall get the untreated & treated sample of trade effluent from the Board's lab within three months so as to ascertain as to whether the treatment system provided by it is adequate or not. |
