It is submitted that the subject cited industry is a small scale Cupola Furnace unit. The industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. ZO-1/FGS/WPC/2009/F-229 dated 3/09/2009, and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. ZO-I/FGS/APC/2009/F-232 dated 3/9/2009, both extended upto 30/06/2018 for the manufacturing of Ingots, Moulds, Rolling Mill Parts & C.I. Casting @ 100 Ton/Month.
Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 with requisite documents through OCMMS. The industry has already deposited consent fee of Rs. 12000/- vide R. no. 97/4458 dated 28/5/2018 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 12000/- vide R. no. 98/4458 dated 28/5/2018 the Air Act, 1981 against the un-depreciated fixed assets of Rs. 39.99 Lacs as on 31/03/2018 as per CA certificate dated 8/5/2018, which is adequate upto 30/06/2023 under both the Acts as per Board's Office Order dated 18/7/2013.
It is pertinent to mention here that as per latest Board's Office Order no. 59 dated 2/2/2016, the consents of Orange/ Green Category industries may be extended/ renewed, without visiting the industry. Moreover, no complaint of and sought has been received in this office since the earlier grant of consent to the industry. The last visit was on 23/8/2013 the unit was found comply with conditions of consent granted to it under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
In view of above if approved, consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30/06/2023 with suitable conditions and special conditions that;
1. The industry will comply with the CGWA guidelines.
2. The industry will apply for authorization under HWM Rules, 2016.
