The industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. ZO-I/LDH/RO-I/WPC/2013/F-4381 dated 06.08.2013 valid upto 30.06.2018 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. ZO-I/LDH/RO-I/APC/2013/F-3369 dated 06.08.2013 valid upto 30.06.2018. The industry has now applied for obtaining renewal of 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. The industry was visited by AEE of the office on 06.06.2018 & observed that:
1. The industry was in operation during visit & engaged in manufacturing of auto parts.
2. The industry has installed 1 no. auto black furnace with wet scrubber as APCD and 1 no. electric billet heater.
3. The industry has installed one no of dip paint section. The job is dipped into paint and dried using electric baking oven.
4. The industry has installed 1 no. D.G set of capacity of capacity 62.5 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
5. The industry has installed water meter at fresh water supply leading to the auto black section and the reading during visit was 260.42 KL.
6. The industry has made an agreement with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., (CETP) for lifting of trade effluent @ 2000 Ltr/month.
7. The industry has provided a storage tank for effluent of capacity approx. 1000 Ltr.
8. The industry has lastly lifted its effluent to (CETP) @ 1000 ltr vide R. no. 304822 dated 24.05.2018.
9. The industry has installed separator water meter at fresh water supply leading to acid pickling section and the reading during visit was 92.47 KL.
10. The industry has made an agreement with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., (Re-processor) for lifting of trade effluent @ 1000 Ltr/month.
11. The industry has lastly lifted its spent acid to re-processor @ 1000 ltr vide manifest no. 42076 dated 21.05.2018.
12. The industry has maintained the record of water meter reading and effluent lifted properly.
13. The domestic effluent is being discharge into sewer.
14. The industry has submitted the building plans approved from competent person under Director of Factories, Punjab.
15. The industry is mentioned at Sr. no. R.O-I/LDH/WA/452 in the inventory maintained by Regional Office-1, Ludhiana
16. The industry is now complying with conditions of previous consents granted to it under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
In view of the above, it is recommended that renewal 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2023 with suitable condition please.
