Sir, the reply of the observations is as under;
1. The entire quantity of solid waste being generated from the institute is collected at a common point. From there, waste papers, file covers, newspapers etc. are segregated and are sold to local vendors / kabari walas.
2. The leftover food waste from hostels is given to the nearby piggery farm owners.
3. The institute has also constructed two number of compost pits of size 8' X 8' each, for composting of vegetables waste being generated from the kitchen area, wet organic matter etc.
