The industry was earlier granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 vide no. ZO-I/LDH/RO-1/WPC/2013/V-4364 dated 11.07.2013 valid upto 30.06.2018 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. ZO-I/LDH/RO-1/APC/2013/V-3355 dated 11.07.2013 valid upto 30.06.2018. The industry has now applied for renewal of 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. The details are verified by AEE of the office as per documents submitted by the industry:-
1. The industry has installed 4 no. oil fired forging furnace with adequate stack height.
2. The industry has installed 2 no. electric type heaters.
3. The industry has installed 2 no. shot blast machines with adequate stack height and bag filter house as APCD.
4. The industry has installed 1 no. DG set of capacity 500 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
5. There is no generation of trade effluent only domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.
6. The industry has submitted the building plan approved from competent person under Director of Factories, Punjab.
7. The industry is mentioned at Sr. no. R.O-I/LDH/WA/538 in the inventory maintained by Regional Office-1, Ludhiana.
8. The industry is complying with the provisions of previous consents granted to it under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
In view of above, it is recommended that the 'Consent to Operate' renewal of under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 30.09.2027 under the name & style of M/s Lila Forging (P) Ltd., D-74, Focal Point, Phase-V, Ludhiana. (Lesse of Swati Industry) with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board .
