The details of the case are given in the note of EE, which may kindly be perused. In light of the facts mentioned in the said note, it is recommended that 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2022 with suitable conditions and following additional conditions.
1. The industry shall comply with the CGWA guidelines.
2. The industry shall comply with the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016.
3. The industry shall not operate its washing process and extruder without obtaining NOC/ varied 'consents to operate' from the Board. Further, it is recommended that approval may please be accorded to this office for sealing of mechanical washing section and extruder installed by the industry. |
