The Point wise reply of the clarification raised by the Competent Authority is as below:-
1) The effluent generated from the pre-treatment process (from washing as well as spent acid) is treated in the effluent treatment plant installed by the industry and the treated effluent is re-circulated in the process thereafter.
2) The industry has already been granted authorization under HWM Rules, 2016 vide no. HWM/LDH4/2016/3330201 dated 19.01.2016 Valid upto 31.03.2020. The industry is maintaining the record of generation of the hazardous waste such as zinc ash, zinc bras etc.
3) The industry has already clarified that the entire material produced within its premises does not required hot dip galvanizing as there are other operations such as forging, machining etc. and a majority of material is directly machine without the hot dip galvanizing process . Only the material which is hot dip galvanized requires pickling and as such the total production is not in consonance with actual production.
