The Directions u/s 31-A of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was issued to the industry vide ZO letter no. 2553 dated 05/07/2017 with direction that:- “The industry will not re-commission its operation without prior written permission of the Board as well as without obtaining consent under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.” Now, the industry has applied for obtaining consents of the Board under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, under Orange Category for production of Bitumen Premix @ 100 TPH. The industry has also submitted a request that we have rectified the observations found during the earlier visits of our unit. The industry has submitted the photographs as proof in this regard. The industry has also requested that the increase in the fixed assets of the unit is due to the replacement of faulty/old machinery. It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries. If approved, consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry, for 1 year with condition that the industry will submit NOC/permission from District Town Planner within this period |
