Approved as proposed with the usual conditions and with the following special conditions:
1. The industry shall get its Air Pollution Control Device (APCD) alongwith its collection system evaluated from Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Chandigarh regarding efficacy, alongwith the side hood design within 15 days.
2. After evaluation, APCD and its collection system including hood shall be upgraded / replaced by the industry as per the advice of Punjab State Council for Science & Technology by 31.07.2018.
3. The industry shall appoint dedicated staff for operation / maintenance of APCD / collection system, within one month.
4. The industry shall implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prepared by Punjab State Council for Science & Technology for APCD in toto so as to achieve the prescribed standards on a regular basis.
5. The production of the industry i.e. steel ingots & CI casting shall not exceed 60 MTD under any circumstances.
