It is submitted that the subject cited industry was granted Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. R14SGRCTOW1447823 dated 28/06/2014 and the Air Act, 1981 vide no. R14SGRCTOA1447378 dated 28/06/2014, both valid upto 30/06/2018 for manufacturing of Forged parts (machine gear/parts) @ 4.0 MTD by using MS Round @ 4.21 MTD as raw material.
Thereafter, the industry has submitted applications for obtaining consent of the Board under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Forged parts (machine gear/parts) @ 4.0 MTD by using MS Round @ 4.21 MTD as raw material along with operation of the shot blasting machine, but the same were returned due to certain incompletions. Now, the industry has submitted application for renewal of Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981. The details are mentioned in agenda note. In vie of details mentioned in agenda note, it is recommended that the industry may be granted varied consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Forged parts (machine gear/parts) @ 4.0 MTD by using MS Round @ 4.21 MTD as raw material along with operation of the shot blasting machine subject to suitable conditions and additional following conditions:
1. The industry shall be bound to comply with Section 79 of The Punjab Regional and Town Planning and Department Act, 1995 (emended in 2006), in case, the site of the industry falls in Non - Confirming zone while finalizing the Master Plan of Dhuri town.
2. The industry shall obtain SAC clearance, if the unit does not fall in the industrial zone while finalizing the Master Plan of Dhuri town.
