It is intimated that the industry was granted consent to operate to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 granted, which were valid upto 30.06.2018.
Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has Deposited Rs. 15000/- vide receipt No. 74/4755 dated 06.07.2018 under Air Act and Rs. 15000/- vide receipt No. 75/4755 dated 06.07.2018 under Water Act, Rs. 500/- vide r no. 76/4755 dated 06.07.2018 as form fee. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate up to 30.06.2023. The industry has submitted earlier granted consents, CA Certificate, partnership deed, approved building plan.
The industry was visited by officers of the Board on 08.06.2018 and observed that the industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in the manufacturing of Activated Carbon. The industry has installed 02 no. Rotary Furnace. The industry has provided adequate stack height with Rotary Furnaces along with proper sampling arrangements. The industry has installed ETP for the treatment of trade effluent and the same was in operation during the visit and treated trade effluent was being discharged onto land for plantation. The industry has provided DG set of 63 KVA with canopy. The industry is discharging its domestic effluents onto land for plantation after passing through Septic Tank. The industry has planted adequate trees within the premises of the industry. The stack emission & effluent sampling were also carried out by officers of the Board on 01.05.2018 and as per analysis results, the concentration of various parameters are within the prescribed limits of the Board.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2023.
