The industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has installed 1 no. induction furnace with bag house filter as APCD and sampling arrangements. The stack emission sample was carried out during the visit and as per analysis report , the concentration of particulate matter is 168 mg/nm3 which is beyond the prescribed limit of the Board.
