| Clarification Note: |
The application of the industry for obtaining renewal of consent under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 has been scrutinized and following observations have been made:-
1) The industry in its earlier CA certificate dated 20/05/2014 has mentioned the cost of project as 450.69 lacs. However, in its current CA certificate dated 28.06.2018 the industry has mentioned the Total cost of project as 509.11 lacs only, which need clarification.
2) The industry in its earlier CA certificate dated 20/05/2014 has mentioned the cost of plant & machinery as 394.58 lacs. However, in its current CA certificate dated 28.06.2018 the industry has mentioned the cost of plant & machinery as 246.75 lacs only, with depreciation. However, the total increase in cost of plant & machinery assets is not in consonance with difference in total project cost.
3) The industry has mentioned Bar as one of its product in its current application form, which was not mentioned in earlier granted consent.
4) You are also requested to submit the status regarding pavement of vehicular movement area & entry/exit points, so as to suppress the dust emissions.
As such you are requested to clarify the aforesaid observations within 02 days, so as to proceed further in the matter. Till then, the application submitted by the industry shall be treated as incomplete.
