1) As per category no. 3067, Hosiery /Garment manufacturing with washing only (without bleaching and dying) with discharge less than 2 KLD and is connected to Public sewer are covered under the left out sector of green category by the Board.
2) Further, as per category no. 3066, Steam calendaring /zero finishing /centering etc. (without washing process) are also covered under the left out sector of the green category by the Board.
As the industry is engaged in the manufacturing of Readymade Garments under small scale category with no trade effluent, it is felt that the industry is covered under the above two categories and should be considered as green category unit. In view of above, Regional Office may be allowed to consider the case under green category and decide the case on merit please. |
