It is submitted that unit is a stone crusher cum screening-cum-washing plant and was granted Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the processing of river bed material @ 5000 cft/day. The consents were valid upto 30.06.2018. Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 along with documents and consent fee of Rs 24,000/- (Rs 12,000/- each under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.) vide R. No. 25/4615 dated 15.06.2018 which is adequate up to 30.06.2023. The unit has submitted an undertaking regarding the compliance of code of practice, CA Certificate and analysis report of the Government approved lab namely M/s Eco Laboratories & Consultants Pvt. Ltd. and compliance report of the previous consent granted to it. Accordingly, the site of the unit was visited by the undersigned on 03.07.2018 and it was observed that the compliance as per the code of practice given in the agenda note attached herewith. Since the industry is complying with the code of practice, as such in view of facts mentioned above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2022 subject to the same conditions as mentioned in the earlier consent granted to it. |
