As per record the industry is SSI Orange category and was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2018 for engaged in manufacturing of plywood & block Board @ 800 sqmtr/day.
Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Air act for manufacturing plywood & block Board @ 2500 sq mtr/day.
The clarification raised regarding forest deptt permission, the industry submitted that the industry has not increased or installed any new machinery already sanction / approved by Forest Department. Only Modernization is made such as hand sanding converted to automatic wide belt sander, hand finishing is converted to automatic finishing machines and valves to control Steam are replaced with this modernization the product is increased so accordingly varied consents are applied. The industry was visited by the officer of the Board on 14.06.2018 and observed that the industry was in operation has installed 1 no. wood fired boiler of capacity 5 TPH with trima cyclone and wet scrubber as APCD. The stack emission sample was collected which is within the limits prescribed by the Board. The industry has installed 2 no. DG set of capacity 125 KVA and 380 KVA with canopy. There is no increase in the load of pollution due to modernization.
The industry has submitted DTP certificate and approved building plan.
RO recommended that consent to operate under AirAct 1974 may be granted upto 30.06.2023 with usual conditions.
Keeping in view report/verification made by RO, if approved Varied CTO Air Act may be granted upto 30.6.23 with usual conditions.
