As discussed with your goodself, as per the policy of the Board dated 30.04.2013, the PPCB can grant consent to establish to any category of industries, which are permissible in mix land use area / zones as per by-laws of the notified master plan/ draft master plan. This unit falls under green category and does not generate any trade effluent, air emission and hazardous waste from the process. It is covered under green category just due to weaving process otherwise the remaining processes falls under exempted category.
The industry falls in Industrial Mix zone and it has been granted continuation certificate u/s 79 of the Punjab Regional Town Planning and Development Act, 1995 amended 2006 by the Assistant Town Planner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana for the operation of the industry at this location upto August, 2023.
Hence, this unit is permissible to operate in this location, please.
