File Note: The industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, valid upto 01.08.2018 and 25.09.2018, respectively. Now, the industry has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air Act 1981 online through OCMMS. The industry has deposited Rs. 12000/- vide receipt No. 52/4445 dated 15.05.2017 water Act, Rs. 12000/- vide receipt No. 55/4445 dated 15.05.2017 Air Act Rs. 3000/- vide receipt No. 54/4445 dated 15.05.2017 Air Act, Rs. 3000/- vide receipt No. 55/4445 dated 15.05.2017 water Act. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2021 as per Board's latest orders. The industry has submitted Online application Form, Compliance report of earlier granted consents, approved building plans, latest CA certificate, consent fees. Further, the industry has submitted receipt of the application submitted to CGWA for the extraction of groundwater. The NOC from CGWA is under process. The industry was visited by AEE on 25.06.2018 and observed that:- 1) The industry was not in operation during visit. 2) The industry has installed 2no band saw machine, 1no peeling machine, 1no hot press, 1no core dry press, 1no dryer, 1no drum sender, machinery at site. 3) The industry has installed 01 no. boiler of capacity 6 TPH with cyclone as APCD with adequate stack height and sampling arrangements. 4) The industry has installed 01 No. DG Set of capacity 250 KVA with canopy. 5) The domestic effluent of the industry was collected in collection tank and discharged onto land for plantation within the premises.(approximately 2 Kanal land) Further, it is intimated that the industry was earlier visited on 19.03.2018 and one air stack emission sample was collected and as per analysis results, the concentration of SPM was found within limits.The industry generates effluent from the glue kettle and same is not re-circulated rather stored in underground collection tank and there are chances that the industry may discharge the untreated effluent and is required to install ETP for the treatment of the same. Also, the industry was earlier guided to install ETP for the treatment of trade effluent, but the industry has not started the work till date. RO recommended that the industry may be granted short term consent with condition that the industry will install ETP within this time period and shall not operate the glue kettle..... In view of above, if approved, consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted for the period of one year with condition that the industry will install ETP within this time period and shall not operate the glue kettle..comp.
