It is submitted that as per report of SDM, Khanna dated 04/02/2002, the site of rice sheller was located in 7 kms away from the municipal limits of Khanna.
In view of above, it is submitted that as per notified Master Plan of Khanna, village Ikolaha is located outside MC limits of Khanna and further it has been designated as Industrial Zone.
It is clear from above, the site is suitable of expansion/modernisation of rice shellers.
In view of above and notification dated 17/10/2013, May if approved, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be granted upto 30/09/2022 for producing rice @ 1.35 TPH (with drier) alongwith conditions as proposed in note dated 16/07/2018.
