The industry was found violating the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 and accordingly the applications applied by the industry for obtaining consents under the said Acts were refused vide this office letter no. 4928 & 4929 dt. 22.06.2018.
Now, the industry has again applied for obtaining consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. The industry was visited by JEE of this office on 17.07.2018 and the industry was found complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981
In view of above, it is, therefore, recommended as proposed by JEE for grant of consents under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 to manufacture raw rice / sorted rice @ 2 TPH without dryer for a period upto 30.09.2022, subject to the suitable conditions alongwith specific condition that the industry will get its emission anlayzed from the Board within one month during next paddy season 2018-19.
