The details of the case are given in the note of AEE, which may kindly be perused. In light of the facts mentioned in the said note, it is recommended that the ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period of 5 years with suitable conditions and an additional conditions that the industry shall get its air emission samples analysed from Board’s laboratory / approved laboratory within the period of 3 months and shall submit the report in this regard. The industry shall maintain the record for consumption of fresh water and lifting of trade effluent and shall submit the same to the Board quarterly. |
