It is submitted that earlier the industry has obtained consent under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. RO/ASR/CTO/APC/2013/F-88 dated 13/12/2013 & under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. RO/ASR/CTO/WPC/2013/F-64 dated 13/12/2013, which were valid upto 30/09/2014. Now, the subject cited industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 (Under Green Category).
The industry has deposited Rs. 12,000/- vide cheque no. 109466 & no. 109465 dated 18/07/2018 each as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 against gross value of fixed assets of Rs. 14,00,000/- as on 28/06/2018 and same is adequate upto 30/09/2024.
As per MTP, Amritsar letter no. 487 dated 07/06/2013, the site of the industry falls under mix land use zone as per Master Plan (2010-2031). The industry is existing before the notification of Local Planning area, Amritsar and hence CLU of the industry is not required.
The industry is complying with conditions of consent granted earlier.
The Board has issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries.
In view of above, if approved, consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be extended to the industry up to 31/12/2023 special condition that the industry shall get building plan approved from Director of Factories, Punjab and submit the same in this office within 01 month from date of issue from the consent.
