Sir, the industry has been issued directions u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 and the competency lies with Chief Environmental Engineer, Ludhiana for decision on restoration/disconnection of electric supply. However, the competency to decide the consent application lies with Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-4, Ludhiana in such cases.
If approved, the case may be sent again to the Competent Authority for decision w.r.t directions issued u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981 and the advise of the Competent Authority may be sought regarding the decision on the consent applications. |
