The industry was granted 'consent to operate' of the Board under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/FGS/2017/4869326 dated 11.01.2017 valid upto 30.06.2018 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/FGS/2017/4869342 dated 12.01.2017 valid upto 30.06.2018 for manufacturing of Rubber tubes @ 3000 nos./day, subject to the conditions mentioned therein.
Now the industry has applied for renewal of 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
In view of above, if approved, the Zonal Office-2, Patiala may be recommended that the 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30.06.2023, subject to the suitable conditions please.
