It is intimated that the industry is a small-scale Green category, plastic unit. The registration details were checked and found correct. The documents uploaded by the industry were verified.
The industry was granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH1/2017/6488853 dated 25/10/2017 valid upto 30.06.2018 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH1/2017/6488807 dated 25/10/2017 valid upto 30.06.2018. The industry has now applied for renewal of 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. The industry has already deposited consent fee under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 adequate upto 31.12.2025.
The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 2.8.2018 observations that the industry was in operation during the visit & engaged in the production of industrial packing bags using fresh granules as raw material. There is no source of trade effluent generation & only domestic effluent @ 0.7 KLD is being discharge into sewer. The industry has not installed any DG set. The site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per notified Master Plan (2007-21). The industry has now complying with the provisions of Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974.
In view of above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 upto 31.12.2023 with suitable condition as per policy of the Board please. (Competency Environmental Engineer)
