It is submitted that the subject cited project proponent was granted NOC from pollution angle for the development of Senior Secondary School namely "ATS VALLEY SCHOOL" in an area of 5.67 acres (built up area 18234 sqm.) at Village Madhopur, Tehsil Dera Bassi, Distt. SAS Nagar vide no. CTE/Fresh/SAS/2017/4794296 dated 31.03.2017, with validity upto 25/08/2017 subject to same conditions mentioned therein.
The project proponent has also obtained partial consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 both are valid upto 31.03.2018 for the discharge of treated effluent @ 10 KLD.
Now, the project proponent has applied for obtaining extension in the validity of consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents. The project proponent has deposited NOC extension fee amounting to Rs. 24,000/- vide UTR no. KKBKH18030842985 dated 30/01/2018 against the total project cost of Rs. 23.74 crores, which is adequate upto 25.08.2019.
Accordingly, the site was visited by the undersigned on 26/07/2018. During the visit, it was observed as under:
1. The project proponent has constructed entire boundary wall of the project.
2. The project proponent has constructed G+3 and G-1 storied building of first block & total build up area of current construction at site is around 10637 sqm and remaining construction was in progress.
3. Presently, the project proponent has provided septic tank near play ground area of size 20'x11'x15' (approximate 93 Kl) and the project proponent has installed pump at the outlet of septic tank for the disposal of treated effluent into plantation area.
4. The project proponent has installed 03 no. RWH.
5. The project proponent has installed one no. submersible pump for water abstraction from ground water.
6. The project proponent has installed one no. DG set equipped with canopy.
The project proponent is complying with the conditions of NOC and consents granted to it.
In view of above, it is recommended that the validity of consent to establish (NOC) may be extended for 25.08.2019 subject to same condition mentioned therein.
