As per record, the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no ZO/JAL/HPR/WPC/2004/F-12 Dated 02.02.2005 valid upto 30.06.2018ZO/JAL/HPR/APC/2004/F-11 Dated 02.02.2005 valid upto 30.06.2018.
Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS with requisite documents & fee. The industry has Deposited fee adequate up to 30.06.2023. The industry was visited by officers of the Board on 14.05.2018 and observed that the industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in the manufacturing of Activated Carbon. The industry has installed 02 No. Rotary Furnace with baby boiler. The industry has provided adequate stack height with Rotary Furnaces along with proper sampling arrangements. The industry has installed ETP for the treatment of trade effluent and the same was in operation during the visit and treated trade effluent was being discharged onto land for plantation. The industry has provided 1 no of DG sets of 65 KVA, which are with canopy. The industry is discharging its domestic effluents onto land for plantation after passing through Septic Tank. The industry has planted eucalyptus trees within the premises of the industry. The effluent sampling was carried out by the Officers of the Board on 14.05.2018 & as per analysis report the concentration of various pollutants of effluent and air stack emission are within the limit prescribed by the Board.
RO recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for the period upto 30.06.2023 with usual terms & conditions.
Keeping in view of the report/ verification made by RO if approved, consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for the period upto 30.06.2023 with usual terms & conditions.
