It is submitted that the industry has induction furnace of capacity 0.5 TPH only. At present, the induction furnace of capacity 3 TPH and above are being pursue to modified the emission collection system. A meeting was taken by the Worthy CEE, PPCB, Ludhiana with the induction furnace association alongwith representative of the council on 01.08.2018 in the Indian Summer Hotel. It was decided that at first stage all the induction furnace will get design from the council and make the agreement with the council for installation & modify the Air Pollution Control Device. Accordingly orders are being placed by the industries to the council. The industry is in small scale so CSA clearance is not required. |
