As discussed and informed by Er. Guneet Sethi, AEE it is submitted that the industry has made agreement with re-processors i.e. M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd., Ludhiana (Unit-II) at Kohara @ 10000 Ltr/M for spent acid. The industry is lifting spent acid to the re-processor only. As it is only pickling/wiredrawing unit it has not made any separate agreement with CETP Electroplating Focal Point, Ludhiana.
In view of the above, as earlier recommended by Er. Guneet sethi, AEE the renewal 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 may be granted up to 30.06.2023 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
