The details of the case are given in the note of AEE, which may kindly be perused. In light of the facts mentioned in the said note, it is recommended that the application for obtaining ‘consent to operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry, subject to the suitable conditions and an additional condition that:
(i) The industry shall obtain the statutory clearances/permissions from all other concerned departments.
(ii) The industry shall obtain clear certificate from PSIEC within 2 months to the effect that whether the manufacturing of fasteners with forging is allowed to carry out in plot no. D-197, Industrial Area, Phase-VIII B, SAS Nagar. |
