Remarks: - It is intimated that the subject palace was granted consent to establish (NOC) from PBTI, Mohali vide no. PBIP/PPCB/2016/CTE-155 for the establishment of hotel.
The hotel has now applied for extension in validity for the consent to establish (NOC) granted under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents. The palace has deposited Rs. 70000/- as NOC Extension fee vide Cheque No. 658159 dated 09.08.2018 and Rs. 500/- vide Cheque No. 658160 dated 09.08.2018 as application form fee, which is adequate for another one year.
The industry was visited by officer of the Board on 28.08.2018 and observed that 70% of construction work was completed. Sh. Anil Vashisht, G.M. of the hotel was contacted at site. The hotel has proposed STP of 100 KLD capacity for the treatment of effluent out of which 35 KLD used for flushing purpose, 20 KLD in cooling towers and remaining 40 KLD will be used for gardening / plantation. The industry has proposed one DG set of 1750 KVA with canopy.
Recommendation :- In view of above, it is recommended that extension in Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 applied by the project proponent may be extended for further one year with same conditions.
