The industry was given personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board on 20.07.2018 and after hearing it was decided that "Environmental Engineer, Regional Office re-visit the industry, collect stack emission sample and verify the contention of the industry & submit its report within 07 days."
Now the industry has submitted that the industry is not in operation due to slump in the market. As such stack emission sample cannot be collected so as decide the application.
In view of above, it is recommended that short terms consents for six months may be issued to the industry with suitable conditions and special condition that the industry shall get its stack emission sample analyzed from Board lab. well before expiry of its consents.
