The industry is a small scale Green Category unit and was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 vide no. G16LDH3CTOW3916381 & G16LDH3CTOA3916488 dated 28.04.2016 valid upto 31.08.2018 for production of G16LDH3CTOW3916381 for production of Maida @28000 Kgs/day, Atta @10000 Kgs/day, Suji @2000 Kgs/day Bran @10000 Kgs/day with discharge of domestic effluent @ 1KLD Onto land for plantation after septic tank with conditions mentioned therein.
As per new categorization list of the industries, the unit is covered under green category.
Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has filled online application form, uploaded latest C.A Certificate, compliance of earlier granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981, manufacturing process, Site plan, Location plan. The industry has deposited Rs. 70,000/- vide R.no. 58/4063 dated 08.04.2016 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 70,000/- vide R.no. 59/4063 dated 08.04.2016 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31.12.2026.
The site of the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 27.08.2018 and observed that the industry was in operation and is engaged in the process of manufacturing Maida, Aata, Suzi and Bran. There is no source of generation of Air pollution and water pollution. Only domestic effluent is generated, which is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. The industry has installed 01 no. DG Set of 05 KVA, which is with canopy. The site of the industry is situated outside the MC limit in the village Khassi Kalan. The industry is complying with the earlier granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
The competency to decide the case lies with the Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, as per the latest policy of the Board.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 31.12.2023 with usual terms and conditions.
