It is intimated that the subject cited industry was given personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office Jalandhar wherein it was decided as under:-
1. The industry shall submit Bank Guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- as an assurance to comply with PPCB norms.
2. The industry shall apply consents within 7 days.
3. The Regional Office, Jalandhar will collect fresh samples of the industry and submit report & check adequacy of plantation area also within 7 days & Submit report.
To verify the contents of the decisions of the proceedings, The industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 20.08.2018 and it was observed as under.:-
1. Sh. Sanjay Tikku General Manager of the industry was contacted at site. The industry was in operation during the visit.
2. The industry has installed ETP consisting of settling tanks collection tank sand filter ACF pre filter fine filter and same was in operation. The effluent sample was collected during the visit leading to gardening area and result of the same is as under:-

As per above results, all the parameters are found within the prescribed limits of the Board.
3. The service station has not submitted bank guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- as decided during hearing till date.
4. The service station is required to plant/develop more plantation area at site for utilization of treated effluent generated at site.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the service station upto 30.09.2020 with suitable conditions and with special condition that:-
1. The service station shall submit bank guarantee of Rs. 50,000/- as already decided by the Competent Authority of the Board immediately.
2. The service station shall develop more plantation area for utilization treated effluent at site/reuse its treated effluent into washing process.
