| Clarification Note: |
The application of the industry has been scrutinized and found as under:
1. the industry is required to submit a letter from DTP Patiala as to whether the site is suitable for carrying out expansion at the site or whether spot zoning of the industry has been done or not.
2. During visit it was informed that the industry was utilizing canal water for meeting up the requirements of fresh water. However no arrangement regarding the same was observed at the site.
3. The industry was utilizing RDF (as per information provided) in the boiler however, the industry was not given consent to establish for the same. Also the APCD installed by the industry was not adequate for the same. form.
4. The industry has no mechanism for the treatment/ utilization of the wastewater generated from the regeneration of the water softening plant and the boiler blowdown.
