Discussed, it was apprised that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate in the name of M/s Mahavir Rice Mills, Village Lehal Khurd, Tehsil Lehra, Distt. Sangrur and now the unit has been purchased by the new party i.e. M/s Madhav Rice Mills, Village Lehal Khurd, Tehsil Lehra, Distt. Sangrur. There is neither change in the production capacity nor change in any pollution load and there is no addition of land. The industry will be operated for the production of the raw rice (without sortex & dryer) @ 1.0 TPH by processing paddy @ 1.5 TPH. Therefore, it is once again recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2022 and under Air Act, 1981 consent may be granted upto 30.09.2019 for the production of raw rice (without sortex & dryer) @ 1.0 TPH with suitable conditions as mentioned in the above note. |
