The industry was granted consent vide no. ZO-1/LDH/RO-2/WPC/2013/F-4515 dated 03.10.2013 valid upto 30.09.2018 under Water Act, 1974 & vide no. ZO-1/LDH/RO-2/APC/2013/F-3402 dated 03.10.2013 valid upto 30.09.2018 under Air Act, 1981.
Now, the industry has applied for the renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Prevention of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Prevention of Pollution) Act, 1981.
The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 13.09.2018 and it was observed that the industry was in operation and was engaged in manufacturing of plywood. Industry has installed one thermopack boiler of capacity 2.0 Lacs K Cal with cyclone as APCD and stack of adequate height. The Air emissions sample was collected from the thermopack on dated 10.04.2018, as per which SPM is 156 mg/NM3 which is within the prescribed limits. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has installed two D.G sets of capacities 125 KVA & 350 KVA, with canopies.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consent under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2023 with usual conditions.
